Walk with the Word: Emmaus

Join Jesus and the disciples in the days immediately after Easter

Drama Kirk’s latest production “Walk with the Word: Emmaus” by Louise Scott will take place in Chatelherault Country Park on Saturday 13th May with performances at 11am and 2pm.

You will have opportunity to walk with bible characters as we explore the period in scripture from the aftermath of the crucifixion through to the ascension. You will first meet the disciples in the aftermath of the crucifixion, then experience the joy of the resurrection as they have various encounters with the risen Lord, before he leaves them with the great commission – the same commission we have today. This will be a new opportunity for Drama Kirk to explore this period of scripture in greater depth than we do at Easter and we are looking forward to sharing this exciting new project.

The route is short and flat so suitable for all abilities and is also dog, buggy and wheelchair friendly. The walk will take less than an hour, with several stops along the way to experience the drama. This is a lovely opportunity to take the Gospel into our community and enjoy one of the local green spaces together. Please do help us spread the word.
